Flex hands while wrapping them to ensure wraps are not too tight, cutting off circulation to hands and fingers. Hand wraps provide a degree of protection but are not warranted to prevent injury. 1. Spread hands wide and place loop over thumb. Pull wrapping across the base of palm and around the back of the wrist, then across the palm to the knuckle of the little finger. 2. Continue wrapping across the back of the knuckles and wrap them at least twice. 3. Now wrap across the palm to the wrist and wrap across the back of the hand to the thumb. Wrap the thumb. 4. Continue wrapping toward the little finger. Wrap the back of the knuckles to the base (back) of the thumb. Wrap the thumb. Continue around the wrist and fasten.
